Hamburglars

On saturday we had a small premature 21st birthday celebration in my honor with some peircean friends. At Macdonald’s we wore party hats, though I think I’m the only one truly enthusiastic to don one on my crown.

I hadn’t seen Xin ru & Jin fa for good ages already. We had many curly fries & McSpicys.

Darryl was the clown for the evening; his antics turning Xueqian & Melvin into spasms of laughter & uproar. We played some games. & Kevin decided to open up the stashed away chest of old loves.

Sin Ming Walk.

Peirce returned to its original campus after a long renovation project spanning 4 years. It underwent a big facelift, with a new block erected near the field. The skeleton is still there, recognisable by us old alums. But most of the infrastructure has changed. Pretty sad, yes. Like Ms Ho, now all the memories are in our hearts and nowhere else.

Outside the dance studio. Thank goodness the classrooms were left untouched.

Many of us came back for the sec 1 orientation, though people like me were of no help. I was more keen in nostalgia and reminscing fond memories with Wansu, Lynette, Vone, Janice, Kelvin & Darryl. Some many juniors came as well, but I hardly know them. We chatted with Mrs Yau, still forever young. Turned out, many teachs have since left.

Peirce will always have a special place in my heart;)

Evening was NYJC for me. Above all things, so it was called. I was late, past 7.30, walking briskly towards the small auditorium. Ms Angela Lim, my former english teacher, was at the door. Was glad to see her, otherwise it was no entry for the ticketless me. Due to some confusion, my seat at the vip area was taken, so i sat at some random empty seat at the side.

Things hasn’t changed from the last performance. The crowd was embarrassingly rowdy and noisy in between scenes. Incessant chatter from the group of boys to my left. I felt a little emb. as a Peircean alum. Performance-wise, it was o-k-a-y. Some jokes, some pretty good actors, nice music. I enjoyed the band performance alot. If there’s one thing i regret, it would be not joining band in secondary school. Really, band seems like the cca you can only join from secondary school then. Once missed, never again.

I didn’t really talk much during the intermission with Janice, Lynette, Vone and Wansu. (…) I thought even our strained relationship was stronger than that.

Janice acquired a cute red bag of a car from shenzhen. real cute. I didn’t enjoy myself that night, period. I feel so distant and dissociated. Talking to janice and lynette was pretty ok though. I feel as if there is something left unspoken, hanging and hovering in the stiff air among vone, wansu and i. U tell me what is it.
