Imagine you & me

We all appeal to different sorts of humour. Some like sarcasm, some prefer stand-up comedy style. Me, I love private jokes. I love everything exchrisive, though the feeling sucks when you’re outside that circle. So we played Imagineiff that evening, and i thought it better to have it under a separate entry.

I found this card after we concluded the game. And took the liberty to fill it up, using ps. Lol

It was extremely hilarious when we fished this card out. It was supposed to be Jacq’s name in the game, but this card, is Huijing and hers only. Like a patent.

The helpful minds guy was explaining the game to us and so this was the trial run. Imagineiff Huien were a dental procedure, which would it be?  We all unanimously voted 5. Braces

Boardgames & Movie

I’m a shy kid. Turned out i was early for the Sex and the City(despite leaving the house at the appointed time) , so i sat with Lihong, Liyong and David (Mel joined us later) at LJS, watching them munched and chomped on some chicken pegs. It was pretty okay.

Sex And the City. Alot of hype, alot of hoohah. Did not catch the series since the series aired when i was still a growing up kid supporting channel 8 dramas. heh heh. Still, i was game for the SATC and it turned out to be rather enjoyable. Feels more like an extended episode than a movie. No climax, no action and no hollywood glitz. But yeah, i kinda like how it turned out. Funny, dazzling (fashion here was more of a hit & miss affair.) and endearing.

I liked the part when they all head to mexico and cute ol’ charlotte, for all her precautions and almost stubborn resolve to avoid imbibing anything not bottled or sealed, HAD to open her mouth in a very dramatic sigh in her shower. It was immediate food poisoning for her. Samantha was also the comic here when she found her ideal late night entertainment. oh dante.

Movie after, it was kebab at peace centre and tauhuay at Rochor. Hehe i thought this photo was quite artsy. Makes me want to have another round. 

When the clock ticked towards 6, we hauled our lazy asses to minds for a session of boardgames. Ladies night is queen:)

 

The curse had broken!! Syazzie and I had some gold between us that night.

Eggy couldn’t join us for SATC cuz she was making this rag doll. This oddly reminds me of the superpoke application in fb. There’s some high kick one that looks like this right? That’s my hand supporting Mr. rag doll btw.

Friday is the BEST:] whoops

Did not accomplish much during op-tech yesterday. I loathed mounting cast. Lunch break saw us scurrying down to megabytes for shuyan’s chicken cutlet and megamud. A big treat before the wisdom teeth extraction. I dropped out of the queue when the woman before me shouted 5 orders of chicken chop.

At Yamaha we bumped into Liyong, Hui En, Li Hong, Syazzie and David. Coincidence coincidence coincidence. Qianli joined us soon after. We chose 2 books of piano scores for a certain somebody’s present. We then triapsed down to daiso and helped ourselves to the kidnapper mask and samurai’s balding head mask for our cam-whoring needs.

Then it was kopitiam next stop for us. Not the usual sit down and yak non-stop. Huien whipped out a deck of BErT poker cards. Ninety nines and indian poker.It was :D when syazzie took up our advice to change his card of queen spade and re-emerged with a queen clubs. Goes to show, don’t challenge fate hiak hiak. We grilled lh about the baby shower in which only she was invited. Conveniently.

Next stop: Minds Cafe. Turns out the cellgroup wasn’t bad liars after all. Syazzie didn’t had any gold at all cuz he was paired with me in the first 3 games, whether saboteur or miner. The first round he tried for a decoy which ended up fooling his partner in crime, namely me. We died in a miserable battle. Second and third round saw me killing my fellow miners. 自相残杀. I kept blocking lihong, thinking it was one smart move. Eggy was secretly smart and totally inconspicuous, never the type to blow her cover. Justine got me fooled into believing she was a miner.

Expression game next. My chance for glory:] Purple won. Only cuz everyone could interpret my drawings. Liyong had silly, syaz got hopeful, eggy had crazy and lihong drew snobbish which only eggy understood. (and only cuz lh blurted out “smirk”) True colours was rawther disappointing. So was jenga. no challenged to the nimble and the dextrous. Exciting truth we digged out was like “syaz’s sister monopolised the teevee remote at home.”

Taboo. We swopped pairing a couple of times. I liked games like taboo because Mr Yeo once said that i’m good at conceptualising things.
