Nippon genes

So I am reeling in my television universe. Mr Brain check. Boss check. Kiina check. Meitantei No Okite check. Liar game check. Chakushin Ari check. Now Bloody Monday. And I am thinking how hot can japanese be.
First up, Kichise Michiko is stunning in Liar Game & Boss as well as in Bloody Monday. It’s coincidental to see her in all the shows I’ve been watching, them hot faves. She’s her niche. She’s brimming with maturity and she’s just so sexy. (which japan tv is starting to realise) Pity about the shoulder pads in Liar Game. Hmm, or was it the real thing. She looked so great in short hair her once long mane is a good riddance. Think Oyu in Tenchijin.

And the eye candy Sato Takeru in the 4th ep of Mr Brain, as the devastatingly beautiful pianist with amnesia. Something about him screams fraility and pure in his role. (Professor and his beloved equation?) I cannot believe he is younger than me. Ugh. As Bloody Monday, which I am still watching, I believe he will have a greater slice of screentime later into the suspenseful plotline.

Erika Toda in Liar Game is incredulous as the Purity Maiden number one who gets deceived over and over again. Nonetheless, in Boss she takes a 180 degree spin as the sociophobe who has some issues of her own. Loved the glasses, the perm and the taxi-everywhere image. I’m considering changing my glasses, but that won’t turn me into her. drats.
